A commitment to generate more understanding and tolerance in the world has inspired me since I was a teenager. So now working in the field of diversity, intercultural leadership and communication - with teams and executives who work globally - is a dream come true for me.
I initially thought political systems would have to change for transformation to occur, but I’ve ended up believing that we can all generate transformation in others – often as result of a conversation - when one person sees new possibilities and acts upon them.
My corporate background is from financial services, where I learnt how meaningful it could be to help clients find solution to business problems. I also realised how much I enjoyed interacting with and developing relationships with clients. Via a journey into psychology and coaching I discovered my passion for intercultural communication and business coaching which I have had the opportunity to practice and develop since 2008. In March 2015 year I became licensed to deliver the individual coaching tool The International Profiler (TIP) from Worldwork.
I also truly enjoy being a board member of the Norwegian-British Chamber of Commerce, running regular workshops on working internationally at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), being on the UK board of SIETAR UK (The Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research), running intercultural youth training for young people, parent-coaching workshops in multicultural settings and writing articles on topics such as coaching, diversity and work-life transitions.
I’m a collaborator at heart with a deep love of conversation, who has been trained in business administration, comparative politics, psychology, coaching and teaching. I joined SLP Global to continue my journey of exploration into helping leaders and teams succeed and to learn from and explore new ideas with a group of inspirational colleagues.
I am a qualified SLP Master Coach.
